Can you make called or aimed Melee attacks?

Honestly I do not remember.

No. Firing at Immobile Targets is for ranged attacks only. TW pg. 110.

Basic punch/kick melee is already called high/low.
Hatchet and sword attacks have the option to call high/low at the cost of higher to hit numbers.

Call left or right, looks like you could based on tacops. It says any attack.

Gonna be honest, I didn't know this was a rule, or totally forgot it was a rule, until right now!

Odd thing is that in the base rules its a +4 modifier. But if you used called shots it would be +3.

Admittedly, in general called shots are a bad idea to allow into a game.

TW pg. 146 - Physical Weapons Attack. Foot Note One: "Roll normally on the ’Mech Hit Location Table. Alternatively, when the controlling player announces the physical weapon attack, he may also announce that he will use the Punch or Kick Hit Location Table to resolve damage if the attack succeeds, in which case apply a +4 modifier in addition to all the standard modifiers, including the standard to-hit modifier for the weapon (this modifier does not apply when attacking on a Punch/Kick Location Table due to attacks from different levels; see p. 150)"

"Any attack can be a called shot."

Pg 76 TO:AR

Aimed shots, on the other hand, specifically says no physical attacks.

I was thinking aimed shots in my head. I don't play often with most of the rules in TO.
