Well, I came close to taking Chihawk down! One of these days it will happen. I hate it when my own bartender keeps kciking my butt. I told him next time he was fired.
Although, that damn Spector killed my Pillager, Spider and got some damage in on the Penetrator before it died. Granted, the Pillager didn't have any Gauss Rifle ammo left and you try hitting a Spector with 2 ERMLAS that aren't in your arms on a map where the heavy woods are EXACTLY 7 hexes apart.
Although, I got him back later when I brought the Wraith on. He finally killed it, but I could tell it was pissing him off. Him needing 10s when he stood still and me needing 5s. Of course, then I did it to myself by missing a kick and falling.

What I was really "pissed" at was when I needed 5s and 6s to hit I was rolling 10+...when I needed 10 I couldn't get better than an 8.
But changing my dice fixed that

Well Mordell, I gave you a chance last year.... but NOOOOOO you had to go for my back, and you all but whiffed. Chihawk is your nemisis. Once you ignore him then victories will come your way. I had one, and once I cleared my mind, all was good.

I figured that might have been the case too
I was very surprised how good AWAD really was. I look forward to someday playing against him again--or at least having a couple beers with him

Thank you for the compliment. WOuld love to down a few beers and roll some dice. I faired OK but not as well as I would have liked. I am a real boom or bust guy. At Ucon in November I got owned in one game and was the ass kicker in another. Maybe I take risks and it either pays off of cashes me out.

For what it's worth, I once drew a game with Mordel and I was playing like total crap too.
I never did get that rematch for saKhan
