Has there been any rule changes on C3 ranges vs LRM IF?

It seems harsh that a target can be located by C3 but the Indirect Fire cannot benefit from the range mods.

Currently the spotter has to signal IF despite being part of the C3.

Rules: 85 vs C3 on 134-5 but the Master can be used for TAG 147...

C3 Masters have a 'TAG' that can be used for Semi Guided LRMs 142 and use On Board spotting rules for Arrow IV - 77 (ok the taggling unit cannot fire)

Rules headache.

C3 is, in and of itself, a rules headache.

C3 is not a headache. If two mechs can see the target you take the distance for the closest mech. It was one way to level with the Clans. The only weird was due to rules lawyer that specified 'min' ranges, that mad sense from the firer and not from the 'spotter'.
