Hi, I am wondering if mordel uses BV2 as their BV calculations. I always assumed it did as that is the current model for point calculation used and I came across a forum post in 2015 from the site admin that says he was gutting BV1 from the website but a friend told me that Mordel uses BV1 which I found odd.
Edit: I re-created the same mech I have for one of my designs in MegaMek and the difference is 34BV. The only difference is that I used the Experimental rules in MegaMek as it was the only way I could get the Supercharger addon but used Advance Rules in Mordel

This site uses BV2. I used to show both calcs, but BV1 became so old that it wasn't possible to use for most of the newer designs, and definitely not worth the maintenance.
I didn't see a design for you on here, but there likely is a reason for the BV difference; either a calc error on MML or a calc error here. I'd be happy to look into it if you submitted the design here and then also sent me the MML file you used for MegaMek. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did the tests with 2 other mechs and got the same BV values for both. We assume that the TSM and claws were interacting weird on MegaMek since I was using an older version
