Ok folks,
We have four folks and four mechs.
Tell me a little about how you like to fight..
firestarter - Excellent up close and personal. The flamers are awesome against infantry and vehicles, and the mech itself is a pretty decent light mech.
Valkyrie is a good support mech if you don't like to close tight.
wasp is awfully light, but a decent 20 tonner, and I will take this mech
phoenix hawk is the big thump for this group. Good movement, large laser comes in really handy against other light lances
Please post what you think you want and how you like to fight, and I'll set them up.. If you don't post.. my initial set up (made by rolling dice for each mech) is
Mordel - Pheonix Hawk
Green Spectre - Valkyrie
Jymset - Firestarter
and myself in Wasp (I chose Wasp and rolled the rest for you guys).

I'm good with all Mechs, including the Wasp or Vulcan.
I don't want the P-Hawk because unlike most people, I have never really liked it. Others will get better results.
I like the FS9, but for the purposes of this campaign, I know my character would suffer severe ethical qualms anytime he was set on infantry. And after all: we have infantry of our own! And the FS9 can be useful trying to overheat other Mechs and bringing its weapons to hear on them.
Same issue with the Vulcan. And I am one of those weirdos not averse to using AC/2s. But then, the Vulcan ain't a sublime BJ-1...
The Valkyrie is a Mech that I think I can do well with. It ain't fast, but I think I can handle the role of lance support well enough.
OTOH, next to you, Pinhead, I am likely to be the only volunteer for the Wasp. It's no Locust or Clint, but then it isn't a Stinger, either! I would play it either as (expendable?!) forward scout or ultralight flanker. Just don't make me carry infernos...
Heh. tl;dr - I'm genuinely happy with any unit aside from the P-Hawk, but will balk at being used as walking genocide.

You know my style sir. I like to jump around, I don't mind heat, and I'm aggressive.  The PHX is fine, but I had assumed you would've wanted it.
