								| My line of thought is a simple Merc campaign concept where i'd work with the Company CO to plan and play the 'turns'.
 Responsibilities:

 GM -
I'd would track damage, supplies, repairs, and budget as well as execute the turns and post results. I would likely be in charge of any Opfors.

 CO -
This player would work with me using the various campaign rules in the various rule books to run the company. This would be the most involved position besides myself as they would need to work with me on the logistical and strategic stuff. The CO is also a player.

 Lance CO -
A potential sub-position that may get delegated certain logistical and strategic decisions. The Lance CO is also a player.

 Player -
During combat encounters these players will submit movement and attack orders in the same way as other Mordel play-by-web games. They will also get to create a simple character that will gain xp and the ability to learn new skills and traits.

 Non-Combat Players -
Potential sub-positions that may get delegated certain logistical decisions. This player will NOT submit orders during combat encounters. Examples: Chief Technician - would be in control of repair and maintenance elements; Chief Administrator - would be in control of personnel and supplies.

 *****

 The unit:

The unit would be created using one of the various methods in the books and would be completed by the CO and myself. Players would then be delegated assignments and their units or unit class.

For simplicity, the company will consist of Mechs only. However, I may possibly allow off board support forces which would be attached to each lance element under to control of the highest CO in the encounter.

 *****

Game-play: each game-play round will consist of 3 phases with each round likely representing a week of in-game time.

Logistical: A full logistical background will exist for the company. Ammunition, supplies, budgets, and even repair conditions. These phases will last a set amount of in-game time and will be affected by campaign conditions.

Strategic: Each contract will be represented by a strategic environment. This could be as complex as a map or abstracted, i have not yet decided. However, the strategic environment will have impacts on the logistical and tactical phases. Will combat occur, will you have enough time for repair/maintenance, ect.

Tactical: Your traditional on the game board brawls. Each tactic engagement is determined by the results of the strategic turns.

 So would people be interested?

								| I'd be interested. Though I'd like as little responsibility as possible given the games I run here and trying to update the site (which uses up most of my free time). _________________

								| I would be interested. I wanna be a grunt.. No command for me.
Actually, if you run out of people wanting to lead.. I wouldn't mind leading the scout lance.

								| I'd also be happy to join in this and would be willing to take a great deal of the responsibility, or as much as is needed. That said, I have only one obstruction to doing a lot of the work. I will be infrequently able to use a computer from around May 22nd thru Jun 14th. If you can work around that I am willing to any work or help that you need.

I think we were holding a spot for Mekslayer, but that should leave one more then? I'll let Xeroth respond since hes in charge of this company.

								| In case you didn't notice, I created a new forum for this campaign and have moved all the topics to it. Please ensure you use this forum for this campaign. I'd like to keep the Play-by-Web forums seperate to help reduce the clutter and make it easier to find one or the other. _________________
