I'm not sold on putting a heavy laser on a garrison 'mech. The quality of the pilots is usually not up to par with the front line soldiers, so they might have trouble hitting the target with the laser. |

A heavy large laser backed by a brace of medium pulse lasers. This thing will not only kill a lighter mech, it will hold its nose and kill it. Im not completely sold with the micro lasers, though. Those strike me more as being protomech weapons. Still, I guess if the mech is confronted with unarmored infantry, or light vehicles, they would come in handy.
Jump capable, fairly quick, and with a decent amount of armor. Put this thing in a city-combat star, and it should do nicely. I wouldnt put it in a ranged fight, if I were you. This thing doesnt have the speed to get in close with out taking some damage, and it doesnt have any ranged weapons to keep badguys at bay. |
