Sure: This machine was build to mimic a MadCat but i think it wasn´t build to take one head on! The "parent" design would always have an advantage because of the better technology. It is fast and has still good armor. The weapons deliver a solid punch at all ranges and the heat sinks allow it to fire most of its longrange weapons at once. At shorter ranges you can switch from the LRM´s to the medium lasers with little problems. Ripping something out to put more DHS´s in is a bad idea because you´ll have to drop the FF armor to get enough space for them as this hasn´t a single crit open. Maybe rip out that pulse laser to get a DHS and 12.5 tons of standard armor. But still don´t try to pound a clan heavy mech to scrap single-handedly: It would be your own hydraulic-oil that is spilled all over the place. |

Personally I pull the Artemis for CASE and lather more armor. The default side armor is particularly vulnerable. A single large laser will penetrate the side rear torso and land on something nasty. Either ammo or an engine crit. |

Use it in the right way and you will not have any problems. If you try to kill your opponent in one monster attack (aka alpha strike) your an idiot and deserve to have it shut down or suffer an ammo explosion. The weapons are comparable (arms) to the old 3025 Marik version of the Marauder, which was relatively well accepted since it didn't provide the overheating problems of the MAD-3R. Use it right: start with your LRM's for a couple of rounds (or four), using the higher mobility (compared to the Marauder) to keep your enemy at bay. Then slowly close firing your energy weapons and you won't really overheat. Remember you can NOT fire a weapon in order to cool down, which is still needed occasionally. It can't take on a MAD CAT, but it is still a decent design...WHEN YOU USE IT CORRECTLY. Not every mehc carries a .357 magnum (Gauss Riffle) |

A decent design. it has some good ranged weapons but it runs too hot and uses an xl engine. this thing wont last long once the left or right torsos or breached. I'd take the Mad Cat over this thing everyday. |

There is not much to distinguish this machine either way. The firepower is nice but not great; keep it to the rear and it should do OK. |
