A very good streetfighter. Fast and mobile with full armor, lots of firepower consisting of pulse lasers and SRM“s and enough DHS to fire most of it while jumping. Out in the open it will have to have some cover like most city fighters.

Unlike the Davion WVR, the Kurita design can't complain about having weak weapons and just like with the Davion model you need to remember that under that beefy armor rests an XL engine, so try to avoid AC/20s. The firepower at short range is frightening and the pilot can use it all even while jumping. The SPL gained some additional usefulness with the new rules, so the WVR can now battle anything it encounters. Just try to avoid flat terrain where everyone can have a clear LOS at you because this lacks long range weapons. This 'Mech belongs to those 3050 machines which can justify XL engine installation. |

Pull that small pulse for something with better bite or function, like a flamer in a city. ;)
The mech is alittle oversinked and can use more weapons. As for the dual SRMs, keep a ton of infernos handy for busting the occasional vehicle. |

Much better upgrade for the WVR. Personally though I'd dump the SRMs for SSRM-4s with a single ton of ammo, and add some more weapons. Like maybe something with some range to it. Really the SPL can go too if you need the ton its taking up to put in something ranged. |

Its a good design, much better than the Davion Wolverine. But, it suffers from a different problem. It runs far too cool, rip out a heat sink or two and up gun your mech and its something truely special.
The XL hurts still but the 12 tons of armour will keep you around for a long long while.
Keep jumping and moving around and you've got something that can carve through mechs in a city. Those SRMs make you the bane of vehicle crews everywhere so use them when it counts. |
