Not that bad but lots of unused potential.
With its speed and mobility it is able to choose the magic 7 hexes for the LRM, a range at which the pulse laser is fine too.
But it is much oversinked and so your able to use 3 tons for additional shortrange weaponry, Artemis or the like.

The LRM upgrade somewhat makes up for the loss of PPC, but not entirely, since it lacks the ammo to rely on the missiles for ranged firepower. And one large laser won't save it. Not the best use for the XL engine... Where is the ER PPC?

Very poor upgrade to the Griffin, the LRM Rack can't be used close in, so drop some extra HS for some support weapons. Sheesh, what were the designers thinking?

Rediculously over heat sinked and under gunned.

Find a better upgrade, or downgrade the LRM system to regain some secondary weaponry which you desperately have needed since 3025.

Take it only if you really need a fastish LRM 20 launcher. Even then its too expensive for what it accomplishes.
