Overview:
    By 3054, issues with the Jade Falcon's current front line units were starting to show. New
    designs from the Inner Sphere and other clan designs were making strides, while the
    venerable Summoner and Hellbringer were starting to show their age. Intending to make a
    battlemech that could compete with the Timber Wolf in pod space and armor while retaining
    the characteristic mobility of the Summoner, designers drew on experience gathered during
    the somewhat troubled development of the Night Gyr.
    
    Among the primary concerns with the new mech was pod space. Desiring a machine with the same
    performance characteristics as the Summoner with the same tonnage, a simple solution was to
    start using Endosteel for the construction. To keep pod space high, fixed jump jets were not
    included. Taking other design cues from the Fire Falcon and Turkina, along with gifted
    Cauldron Born, the new design would noticably different in appearance from the two machines
    it was designed to replace.
    
    With 31 tons of pod space and ten and a half tons of armor, the Harrower sports 13 integral
    heatsinks. With a top speed of 86 kilometers per hour, the Harrower more than keeps up with
    the designs it's intended to replace, and compliments the slower Night Gyr very well. While
    the Harrower swiftly strikes the foe and holds them in place, the Night Gyr pounds them down
    with overwhelming firepower

Capabilities:
    While the prime configuration of the Harrower shows direct inspiration from the Summoner,
    the C configuration comes from an unlikely source - a desire to counter the new Linebacker.
    The fast moving design had done significant damage to the Jade Falcon Touman during the
    Refusal War. While not as fast when moving at flank speeds, the Harrower's significantly
    higher pod space allowed for a configuration that could play almost the same game as the
    Clan Wolf omnimech, and manage its heat more effectively. Five jump jets give it impressive
    mobility, and a pair of medium pulse lasers and ER PPC's are mounted in the arms. Nineteen
    double heat sinks makes the configuration extremely cool, while a targeting computer linked
    to the weaponry makes the weapons mounted even more dangerous.
