This MAD is a -5R that trades its C3-capability for a TC. The downgrade of the PPC's to large lasers hurts it, but the boosted accuracy is hard to ignore.
This was pushed more towards a sniper role. |

Sure the TC makes things fine dandy, but without the ERPPCs, this mech is vulnerable to ERPPC and Gauss boats.
Your shots might be more accurate with the TC slaved lasers but you still need to get closer which means easier target for those baddies sporting any of the big long ranged guns.
The RAC 5 although can no longer do aimed shots, are still slightly more accurate with that TC.
In all, its above average but not that stellar since it will lose out to most ERPPC toting marauders. |

Pretty good, though I thik that the removal of the ER PPCs did a little more harm than good. Still the abilites of the ER large lasers is adequate, and they run cooler than the ER PPCs. The TC will let this mech be moare accurate at range, too, which is a plus in long ranged sniper fights. The armor will take a pounding, but keep the mech safe. Heat shouldnt be too much of a problem, either. |
