Overview:
    The Locust Mk. IV is called such due to it being an evolution of the Locust line. Starting
    with the original, then being customized into the Koto, this upscaled upgrade was later
    applied to the Clan's IIC version of the venerable design.

Capabilities:
    With high speed, max armor, and an anti-missile system, this bug is pretty tough to squish.
    
    The mechs high survivability will allow it to continue to annoy the enemy for some time, but
    its heavy armament of five medium pulse lasers tied to a dedicated targeting computer makes
    it almost impossible to ignore.
    
    The small cockpit does make the design a little difficult to pilot but it's high accuracy
    coupled with flippable arms affords the design some much appreciated targeting versatility.

Deployment:
    The mech was made possible due to trade rights for its hardware, being granted(and in some
    cases, smuggled) because of the Locust's simple reputation. A reputation that has not only
    allowed for the design to come into existence, but has also given it some impressive
    performances on the battlefield due to it being underestimated.
    
    Unfortunately due to that same token, interest in the mech can be considered lukewarm at
    best with most detractors being vocal against the use of an expensive XL engine in a "cheap"
    Locust, let alone a Clan XL engine.
