Overview:
    "A catastrophic waste of precious resources and a blatant insult to its namesake" is perhaps
    one of the more charitable comments made regarding the Preator Jūntuán Shìbīng PJS-48A.
    Made by the Holy Republic of Kothnorea as an attempt to recreate 'mech technology, the
    resulting 'product' made the average piratical Frankenmech look like an auteur work of art
    in comparison.
    
    Despite these valid criticisms, the PJS-48A entered and remained in production for far
    longer than it ever should have; its only "redeeming feature", if it could be called such,
    being that it was a 'mech and it could operate where there was no atmosphere. An ability
    that remained exclusive to the Preator Jūntuán Shìbīng for a worryingly long time, much
    to the dismay of everyone, including its own creators who had repeatedly described its
    regretful creation as "a sin born of necessity".
    
    Nevertheless, despite being universally hated by almost everyone, it remained a better
    option than nothing at all when it can to a unit able to garrison locations lacking an
    atmosphere. Paired with the sheer quantity in which they have been produced over the
    decades, it is quite common to see these hulking forms of outdated and outclassed equipment
    lumbering their way into the frontline in numbers one would normally expect of infantry
    formations.

Variants:
    No variants of the PJS-48 exist; if any had been made, their creators would have been found
    of crimes against god and executed by firing line.
