    designed to be swift, survivable and financially viable. With a three-ton infantry bay and
    armour plating sufficient for surviving  one strike from a PPC or Class 10 autocannon
    unharmed, or crossfire from an entire battle armour squad armed with support PPCs, the
    Mallard is remarkable in its endurance. An anti-missile system provides excellent cover from
    missile fire, while the Mallard's onboard weaponry provides ample close fire support for its
    disembarked passengers.
