Overview:
A simple and relatively straight forward modification of the packrat.
Capabilities:
Dropping the second ton of SRM ammo allowed the techs to expand the infantry bay to 1.5
tons, and use the remaining half ton to increase armour.
Deployment:
This variant is used as a direct combat APC instead of its typical reconnaissance and
infiltration role.
With each of these vehicles able to carry up to 15 regular infantry, or two squads of a
standard platoon, the mercenaries tend to field them in pairs to deploy a full platoon to
the target location.
Favouring the higher speed and armour over the standard wheeled APCs, the mercenaries often
use smoke rounds in every second vehicle to provide cover as they approach or extract the
troops. The other vehicle uses standard missiles to provide combat punch and deter
opposition.
