Overview:
Developed by Valiant Vehicles shortly after the Clan Invasion to meet the voracious demand
for Gauss equipped units at the time, the Testudo is a no-nonsense, mid-budget tank
built around a turreted Poland Main Model A Gauss Rifle with two tons of ammunition as its
sole weapon. A 270 rated Fuel Cell engine pushes the vehicle to speeds more able to keep up
with the consistently faster pace of combat, while nine and a half tons of then-experimental
Hardened Armor make the vehicle surprisingly tough for its size.
In summery, the Testudo was and is not an exciting or unusual design, but offers a
fairly inexpensive means of placing Gauss Rifles into a unit's order of battle.
