Overview:
    Created as a "sister chassis" to the Hræsvelgr, the Lammergeier is an opportunistic hunter
    built to catch unsuspecting enemies with volleys of long range fire. Its production was
    kickstarted by taking heavy inspiration from what seemed to be a destroyed 'Mech prototype
    that was uncovered by the Laughing Vultures on Angell II; while the data they recovered
    showed extensive design flaws, like the misaligned cockpit making ejection exceedingly
    difficult, it had enough promise to warrant a second lease on life.

Capabilities:
    Equipped with 16.5 tons of Stealth Armor and built on an endo-composite chassis, the
    Lammergeier (or Furiae, for the Inner Sphere market) is meant to strike hard from a
    favorable angle when its opponents least expect it. While it has received scorn from the
    newly reborn Jade Falcons, being a machine that relies on "dirty tricks" to get an
    advantage, its usefulness whenever it was deployed alongside their new touman begrudgingly
    saw it earn its rightful spot as a headhunter. While expensive due to the use of an armored
    cockpit and a compact gyro, it boasts a decent amount of pod space at 30 tons, meaning it
    can use several different loadouts effectively and giving enterprising Mechwarriors ample
    room for experimentation. The fixed partial wing system makes its mission profile obvious,
    but the decision to not mount jump jets directly onto the chassis was heavily pushed by the
    chief engineer from D&K Creation Studios in charge of the project to "maximize tactical
    flexibility, and because that shit is stupid".

Deployment:
    This is the BASE chassis, go forth and don't look back.

Variants:
    Much like the Jotun E variant, the Furiae E comes from the black box of a hastily refit
    Lammergeier being sent into battle against a Blakist assault. In fact, it should be noted
    that both refits come from the same battle as they were equipped to the same star. Thanks to
    this fact we get guncam footage from both chassis of the other putting in heavy work, and
    the evidence as to why they both became offered wholesale.
    
    As for equipment, while the weapons systems are all VSP systems thanks ot the original
    slapdash repair effort, they earned great respect from their Jade Falcon and former Hell's
    Horses pilots in the face of adversity thanks to their accuracy in the face of adversity.
    With Sixteen double heatsinks to cool the massive heatload, a large VSP for hard hitting
    ranged damage, three medium VSPs for close ranged brawling, and a small VSP slapped in
    originally in a haste to get the Furiae back into battle, the machine is a terrifying and
    accurately hitting close ranged skirmisher and head hunter. When used in conjunction with
    its stealth armor even the added sinking will not save it should the pilot alpha strike, but
    that is a risk one must be willing to take to kill whatever the machine faces.
