    One of the more insane of First Lord Richard Cameron's ideas, the Avalanche has long been
    something of a passion project for the Mad Genius of Terra. While most (sensible)
    Mechwarriors see the Avalanche as a death sentence on legs, it is nevertheless incredibly
    effective as a point-defense system in urban combat and aggresive sieges.
    The Avalanche AVL-3T is one of the more sensible Avalanche alternate variants. The -3T is a
    dedicated 'mech killer, able to shrug off insane amount of opposing fire to close in and
    strike with city-killing force.

    The -3T is armed with two of the biggest gun in the Terran Hegemony's extensive armoury- two
    UAC-20s, with twenty shots each. Zeroed in by a powerful targeting computer, the two main
    guns are able to make quick work of even the dreaded Atlas with almost disgusting ease. An
    LRM-15 with two tons of ammunition help the -3T reach out and warn the enemy of its approach
    in an almost mocking show of sportsmanship.
