Overview:
    Free Worlds League started building their own variant of Flail just before the end of 3rd
    succession war. After long debate LCCC allowed Irian BattleMechs Unlimited (IBU) to exchange
    copy of license for building Flail battlemechs for rights to exchange spare parts and share
    of produced mechs. IBU soon realized that FWL is unable to import enough PPCs from the
    Combine to build FLF-3Ks in significant numbers, so the design staff was put to remake the
    mech again, instead of trying to obtain license for FLF-3S. After some pondering around the
    problem IBU design staff decided to turn FLF-3M to fire support mech.

Capabilities:
    Short range missile launchers and PPC from right arm were replaced with Delta Dart long
    range missiles. Two different sizes were chosen because of structural requirements, but on
    the field bigger launcher serves as main weapon and smaller ones are used for special
    munitions. Lasers were replaced again this time for Diverse Optics made on Irian. This
    weapons mix turns Flail to missile support instead of line mech. 3Ms are usually fielded in
    mixed lances with other missile boats like Trebuchets or Crusaders.

Deployment:
    13th Marik militia received Lion's share of first run of 3Ms and the other militia units
    will probably receive the second run. FLF-3Ms are usually concentrated in fire support
    lances.
    
    
    
    MechWarrior Jane "Spark" Becker is a little hotheaded fresh graduate from AMI who made name
    for herself with affronting superior officers that earned her prestige place in Lucky 13th.
    During action she proves to be more than able marksman, but her behavior keeps her far from
    commendation.
