    Deciding to take his mix tech Warhammer and build something as close to it as he could using
    only inner sphere parts, General Vidar set down with his designers and came up with the
    Warhammer 59.

    Twin ER-PPCs make of the base of this mech's fire power at range. Finding the damage lacking
    when initial;ly using the PPC's, they equipped each of v59's PPC's with a capacitor to bring
    the damage into line with clan versions. Tests showed that the capacitors had a bad tendency
    of exploding rather spectacularly any time they were hit, so each capacitor was wrapped in a
    ton of armor shielding to help prevent this. Following that they crammed every nook and
    cranny of the machine with heat sinks; allowing the PPC's to keep up continuous barrage even
    with their staggering heat build up. The fire power was equal to twin Gauss rifles but with
    out any ammo.  It was soon found that even with 20 double heat sinks however, the heat build
    up while maneuvering under fire was still a problem. The back up weapons consist of three
    state of the art Medium X-Pulse lasers, and a Streak SRM-6 with a ton of ammo for the
    latter. The v59 has no problem firing all of it's back up weapons and moving under fire,
    allowing the v59 to dissipate the heat that will inevitably build from the twin ER-PPC's;
    with out lowering it's damage out while at medium\close range. The Xl Engine is an expensive
    vulnerability, that did give it's designers pause but the lure of long range, hard hitting
    weapons with no minimum range or ammo dependency ended up being to tempting. The v59 has a
    Standard chassis and 12 tons of Light Ferro-Fibrous armor. These were chosen as a space
    saving compromise in order to be able to fit the much bulkier double heatsinks of the inner
    sphere. Do to the very cramped confines of the v59, the SRM launcher had to be moved the
    leg, and the lasers were stacked in the center torso.
