    The Clint has widely proliferated throughout the periphery, despite its subpar performance.
    In an effort to improve the combat effieciency and surviviabilutu of the aging mech, several
    refits were tested during the Clan invasion and civil war era. Some were used by regimental
    defense forces, others were sold to mercenary companies. This is the second iteration in the
    civil war era.
    Built on the same standard chassis as the original, running on a 240 light engine. The jump
    jets were stripped out to free up tonnage. The armor was upgraded to Ferro fibrous and
    increased my two tons for a total of 6.5T & 107AV. The lasers were upgraded to extended
    range variants and  one extra was added to the left torso for a total of 3. An anti missile
    system was added in the head with its ammo stored in the right torso. The ac/5 was upgraded
    to the LBX variety and an extra ton of cluster ammo was added alongside the previously
    included ton of solid ammo. This ammo is stored with the auto-cannon in the right arm. To
    protect the mech from ammunition explosions, case was added to the right torso.

    It is able to engage at close-medium range with its lasers, more effectively than the
    original Clint because of the extra range and additional laser. With the new able to reach
    out to longer ranges than with its earlier autocannon/5. The case protection and extra armor
    mitigate the risk added by the light engine. The AMS further increases survivability.
