    The Quickcell company, infamous producer of the Hetzer tank, decided to make a cut rate mech
    with the same level of simplicity as its most (in)famous product.
    Never ones to worry about little things like copyright or trademarks, the Quickcell Model A
    is based on the design of the original Flea and cuts down fom the use of myomer bundles to
    the point that they can only be found in the legs. Simple acuators are all that allow the
    simple arm racks to pivot to the rear.
    To make their product a little more attractive, Quickcell designers added jumpjets to the
    QM-1A, giving it a tactical advantage... on paper.

    The QM-1A carries a single machinegun for anti-infantry work and two cheap RL/15s for
    anti-armour and anti-Mech use (dubious..).
    The QM-1A was targeted at militia units, especially those involved in light
    counter-insurgency or police work. This was done while keeping the weapons at as low a cost
    as possible.

    Quickcell has just placed the QM-1A into production after receiving orders from the
    Chaosmarch worlds.
    Many of the pilots assigned these are just workmech pilots given quick briefings and some
    basic training before being pressed into service.
