Overview:
    While most of the BattleMech Engineers at D&K Creation Studios were working on creating
    relatively affordable C3 Slave units to pair with their Cantata BattleMech, a small team was
    created to come up with an, if not innovative, then certainly novel chassis design that
    would deliver extreme punishment at close ranges with the only design stipulation being it
    could not be more expensive than 15 million C-bills to produce. To this, the team came up
    with the Dutchman.

Capabilities:
    At 55 tons of chassis weight, with a 275 rated extra-light fusion engine, the Dutchman is a
    rather fast design for the weaponry it carries. To add on further it its maneuverability, it
    was decided that five standard jump jets with 150 meters of jump distance would be perfect
    for its design role. To further save weight, it was decided that endo-steel internals would
    be used to eke out more ammo availability for the chassis.
    
    The main weapon, and indeed the system the chassis was built around, is a Heavy Gauss Rifle
    equipped primarily in the Right Torso. However, thanks to the size of the engine in exchange
    for the weight saved, some components of the weapon are technically situated in the Center
    Torso, meaning that should the system itself explode then there is no saving the entire
    chassis from being cored. Of course, even if there was enough room to somehow situate CASE
    in the first place it still would not stop the main armaments from being gone. The weapon
    itself is supplied with five tons of ammunition situated in the Right Torso.
    
    For backup weapons should the Mechwarrior piloting the 'Mech run out of ammo or should their
    target get out of the effective range of the Heavy Gauss, the mech is equipped with a
    singular ER Medium Laser equipped on the Right Arm. However, in knife fighting range or to
    deal with infantry the Dutchman also has a Small Pulse Laser on the same arm.
    
    For defense it has 9 tons of standard armor as well as a Guardian ECM Suite, which was
    chosen over the usually company favored Laser Anti-Missile System. The mech is cooled with
    the engine mounted 10 double heat sinks.
