Overview:
    Created as a generalist striker unit by commission from some financially flush mercenary
    company to the same company that made the Jackrabbit. In contrast to the Jackrabbit,
    however, the design team listened to slightly more sober customers for a more concentrated
    design effort.
    
    Of particular note was that their design request was for a covert ops Light 'Mech that was
    particularly suited for rapid strikes against entrenched infantry with the ability to
    counter enemy E-War.

Capabilities:
    The doublet of Extended Range Flamers as well as the triplet of Small Pulse Lasers allows
    the Cypress to work wonders upon any entrenched infantry it comes across, while still
    allowing it to threaten bigger units. Add to this its Center Torso mounted Light PPC
    allowing it to disrupt any enemy it strikes against with a nominal amount of punch as well
    as the usual disruption a PPC applies to a mech, and its job is made clear.
    
    The seven standard jump jets allows it to get behind an enemy and do rapid strike and fade
    strikes. The six and a half tons of Stealth Armor allows it to hide from most sensors, with
    the Guardian ECM being used primarily to counter-jam any enemy that also has E-War
    capabilities.
    
    It does, however, run the risk of running hot should a Mechwarrior not be careful with their
    maneuvering.
