Standard engine and no ammo makes this a tough opponent. As long as your stealth is disengaged you can use your weapons quite well with a little bit of disciplin but when you engage it your options will decrease substantial. The best results with this Ostroc you'll get in citys or dense woods. Engage stealth and dish out an alphastrike and the next round you'll jump into cover to cool down again. Just try to avoid a shutdown! ;-) |

This will run extremely hot and reach frying pan degrees in short order, however its stealth armor protects it somewhat. Just don't go nuts with the dual ERLarges. |

Guerrila mech, scout, city fighter, this thing can do just about anything. The lasers free the mech from ammo addiction, but also give it heat headaches. The DHS should be able to handle the heat if you use some fire discipline, try not to go too nuts with them. The armor can take a licking and keep on ticking, so the occasional shootout shouldnt be too much of a problem. Just check the oil and rotate the tires every three thousand miles, and this thing should go for quite a while. |
