A good shortrange brawler and cityfighter (sounds a bit strange for a ShadowHawk ;-) with full jump and good armor.
The RAC can reach out a bit but is best if fired at shorter ranges to prevent waste of ammo. CASE and standard engine will make it a tough opponent too.
Only problem i see here is the limited RAC ammo: It will burn through that 40 shots real fast! Backup isn't bad either as the streak will mother its shots by itself and the lasers are fine weapons without much heat. |

A fair close in brawler. This guy can be quite tenacious in a city. On top of that, its inexpensive compared to most mediums of its era. A big bonus i say for city garrisons which Davion sorely needs after the Civil War.
So if you are Davion, you can fill your city garrisons with loads of these mechs thanks to its low cost.
The bad, this mech does not carry sufficient ammo for the RAC-5 still. This mech is pretty hardy so do not be surprised to run out of ammo before your mech is gone ! |

A nice in close puncher, but lacking in long range weaponry. Given the speed and jump abilies on this mech, coupled with the weapons load, make this mech a perfect city fighter or city recon unit. The RAC and streaks will kill mechs of equal or lesser weight in one or two salvoes. The medium lasers seem more for when the ammo runs dry than anything else, but will still serve nicely. |
