The Cronus emerged shortly after the 3rd Succession War as its "inventor" rebuilt them from salvage of other 55 tonners!
For its timeline it is a near perfect medium mech with a good movement profile, good armor and a strong weapon loadout.
A "heavy" main weapon, strong backup (all ammoless) and a crit seeker gives it good firepower and even if it runs hot its heat sink system is surprisingly good for a laserheavy 3025 mech! |

In 3025, or any low tech environment for that matter, this will make an excellent medium 'mech for all kinds of purposes. I'd put some more armor on those arms though; that's where the big guns are. It's a bit of a hot heat but the weapons layer nicely. |

A good mech for National Guard or Trainer units, but I wouldnt be too eager to put it into a frontline battle. In a 3025 fight, this thing should be able to acquit itself alright, but in a 3050 or later fight, this thing is 55 tons of meat. |
