A rather weird periphery variant.
If you want to cover your advance with RL-fire I wouldn't use the RL's with the shortest range. Better use RL-10's. I don't like the lowered armor for this brawler but the CASE is very useful and the absence of the small laser wouldn't be noticed at all.
Drop the RL-20's for 6 RL-10's, another heat sink and half a ton of armor. |

ANother ton of armor would have maxed out the armor and give a serious boost for the design. That would leave you with 3.5 tons to play with.
Now you can either go
1) 7 RL10s
2) SRM4 + 1 ton of ammo and a small laser.
either they both cost the same. But im more partial to the SRMs. Its not OS you know ? |

By 3062 this mech is a back water unit. The RL are nice one shot items but heat sinks and half a ton of armour would have been a better bet if your a perphery unit.
The Ferro-Fiberous is an interesting choice but hey, go with the flow. Its still a decent mech with which to defend a city. WOuldn't mind one of the mediums being an ER model for that extra gasp of range. |

Not really alot going for it, but its very cheap and the RL's while only being a one-shot weapon, make good back up to the Lasers as a crit seeking weapon. The AC is still the main weapon so basic hunchy tactics apply. Just remember the RL's are quite useful if used correctly. |

Stop putting rocket launchers on 'Mechs, it's just not funny. This one gets more than a zero because, if not for the RLs, it would be pretty good. That tonnage could be used for something besides rocket launchers, which would give it something more beneficial than a one round punch. |
