Now the Gurkha is a real short range brawler against lighter mechs. Unlike the ER-PPC its large pulse laser can be fired constantly with no heat problems. Try a Level II hunting team with two -2G and four -4G; You'll have a dangerous force in the field. |

Not bad. A little expensive but it's decent. I agree about the replacement of the Pulse with a PPC. The range increaase makes the extra possible heat burden well worth it in my opinion. |

Well, this is what you give the green pilots who need the pulse laser to hit fast moving targets. Personally, I prefer the PPC, as it lets me stay further away. |

For a 35tonner this is extremely nasty. There isn't a light mech pilot which wouldn't drop a brick when they see this. The large pulse laser really augments the small laser batteries and the sword well to give it effective killing power. |

I like this design!
Think about it, heavy close in firepower+decent armor+high speed+C3 link= Bait. Add this mech to a lance of fast long range pummelers and you have a deadly combo even on heavy mechs. This mech doesn't have to give and take a pounding in a stand up fight but just has to stay close to the target so his support units could utilize the C3 link to rain destruction from afar.
