Overview:
    As the Dark Age spirals on and the Davions, in particular, seek to restore the territory
    they lost to the Capellans, the venerable Thunder design returns to the front repeatedly.
    With the development of modern technologies beginning to outgun it on the battlefield, the
    CCAF asked for a model of the mech that was more modern. Ceres Metals obliged.

Capabilities:
    The mech has been pushed to the limit of weight-saving technology, with an added endo-steel
    chassis and light ferro-fibrous armor. Furthermore, the lasers have been decreased to ER
    models. All of this, however, makes room for the 2G key innovation: an imported Defiance
    heavy gauss rifle with 4 tons of ammo taking up the right and center torsos. The
    cooler-running rifle actually also allows a heat sink to be removed, an ER small laser to be
    added, and the CASE system upgraded. Impressively, the armor and speed of the mech are
    unchanged.
