If you need a cheap missile boat in a defensive mission or a mission near supply dumps the Yeoman is the Mech for you!
Intended to serve in a passive role the relatively slow speed, rather thin armor and the lack of defensive weaponry doesn't hamper it much. If the Yeoman finds himself in the middle of the battle the tacticians have made something wrong.
If you need missile support Mechs in a more active role use faster machines with some defense lasers.
This Mech shines in greater settings where you can field a lance of it with some bodyguards to defend it. |

Dropping a single LRM-10 rack can greatly help this design. Toss on some mediums and more ammo for the 15s and he is good to go. |

Okay, its a mech that weighs less than an Archer, can spit out more missiles, but doesnt have any back up weapons.
Granted that this thing can really ruin somebodys day, but it doesnt have the ammo to go through really protracted campaigns.
The armor seems a bit thin for its weight, as well. CASE is a saving factor, as I can some someone hulling this thing right away and touching off some ammo.
Sorry, but for me, this is a support mech of last resort. |

As a support mech its excellent, but it really would struggle in a campaign fight. It would be picked apart by light mechs which close quickly. |

This is an Inner-sphere Missle Mech, Pure and simple. If you use different Munitions, it becomes more versitile.
I like the Design, for a Bi-Pedal Mech.
A backup weapon would help. |
