Overview:
    Ravensbourne Specialist Engineering's first mass production light mech. An evolution of the
    -F was deemed the best candidate with it's superior survivability compared to other Jenner
    variants. The -F lacked the punch of those other variants, but more armour and no ammunition
    bins served RSE's priority of pilot safety.

Capabilities:
    The -F2 has a slightly different internal layout from the -F. RSE were able to fit more heat
    sinks and extend jump range at the cost of a slight reduction in ground mobility. Not
    perfect, but one could argue a net positive. The -F2 still starts to cook itself if you want
    to both jump and fire more than two lasers, but it jumps further and cools faster.

Variants:
    As first attempts go the -F2 was considered fine. Critics lambasted it as too slow for a
    scout/striker mech, a fair criticism, but RSE worked with what they had to create a mech
    that could keep moving and keep shooting for prolonged periods and at a decent speed. Like
    RSE's other mass production lines, the original models have some popularity among collectors
    but are plainly inferior to their later variants.
    
    Rumour among grognards and historians speak of a variant dubbed the -F0. This is believed to
    be a pseudo-prototype variant closer in design to the original -F and preceding production
    of the -F2. Thanks to RSE's endosteel architecture the -F0 was thought to have been able to
    incorporate slightly better cooling and slightly more jump distance. RSE and PA records make
    no mention of Jenner production prior to 2983, but from the late 2970s come stories of a
    substantial quantity of Jenners of unusually good construction quality appearing on the
    periphery in the hands of a variety of militias, pirate bands and minor mercenary companies.
    All manufacturer markings were thoroughly scrubbed from the machines but surviving photos,
    videos and documentation tend to describe features and tendencies common to early RSE mechs.
    None of these machines are thought to have survived to the 32nd century and no motive is
    known as to why these mechs would have been discretely sold off in remote regions. The -F0
    Jenners were not fatally flawed or cursed. Quite the contrary, these "Ghost Jenners" (as
    they were dubbed at the time) were prized for their performance and reliability.
