It's a good mech, and it can pile on the pressure on any IS mech up to 75 tons. However it will rarely get the opportunity, there are simply too many different clan powerhouse mediums which offer that little bit more, the Shadowcat has speed, the Grendel has cost effectiveness, and the Crimson Langur has more useful options in its loadouts.
A good all round mech, but feels a little overloaded at times, your best to just get it in there for the brawl, which is tricky because its a plodder. |

A little slow but the mech does carry a plenty of firepower in something this small. Will make a great little companion to its bigger brother, the Grizzly.
Alone by itself, it can be the death of many IS mediums, until they out manuvere it at least.
Protection is decent and the mech will keep on ticking thanks to the standard engine. It reminds me of the old Centurion in some ways, which cant be a bad thing.

For a 'mech that carries a lot of it's firepower in it's arms the arms are a bit under protected; beyond that it's hard to find anything wrong with this design. It's got a good punch for it's size. |

A nice mech for rookie pilots. A little bit of everything in this one. The mech can handle some long range fire, and the rest of the armament is good for close in battles. The ECM will keep the majority of smart weapons away, but isnt perfect. A good mech for National Guard units. |
