Overview:
    A response by the Aurigan Coalition to continued depredations by the "Abjurer" forces, the
    Keeper was developed in the aftermath of the dual Liao-Taurian invasion at the tailend of
    the Fourth Succession War.
    
    The mech exemplifies many of the doctrines that define the Aurigan Coalition Defense Force,
    even if the mech is given largely to volunteers sent to hunt the Abjurers. Produced by the
    Magistracy's Majesty Metals, the relatively low-cost mech is fast and carries reliable
    weapons. It is designed to be a capable platform, despite the low armor.
    
    The name of the mech is a clear intent of it as being in opposition to the Abjurers, as
    "Keeper" is an antonym of the word.

Capabilities:
    Keepers were designed with one thing in mind: to act as the vehicle, literally, for the
    justice long denied to those who died and suffered at the hands of Samuel Ostergaard's
    orders during the Taurian intervention in the Restoration War. The Keeper is to be the mech
    that hunts down the last of Ostergaard's forces that insist that their acts were justified
    and therefore no justice is required.
    
    Because the Abjurers can be anywhere in the lawless expanse of the Frontier, the mech was
    designed with the ability to operate for long periods away from logistical hubs and armed
    with reliable weapons. This is reflected in the mech's use of a Nightwind large laser and
    two Martell Mediums.
    
    The Flamer is not an afterthought: it is a weapon meant to be used on Abjurer infantry and
    vehicle forces. Because the Keeper must require as little logistical support as possible, an
    energy weapon for anti-infantry work was chosen, hence the Flamer.
    
    Keepers have full jump capacity, reflecting its Aurigan roots and the preference for
    maneuver warfare stemming from Carlios Dan Cannar's instruction.

Deployment:
    Most of the first Keepers went to Auriga's Abel Force, named after the Biblical person of
    the same name. It's also a play on a passage regarding Abel, said by Cain, the first
    murderer: "Am I my brother's keeper?" Some say it's a deliberate call out to the Abjurer's
    lack of accountability for the war crimes they visited on the Aurigan people during the
    Restoration War.
    
    A few Keepers found their way to various ACDF forces, particularly those slated to be part
    of Force Miriam.
