Very weird "upgrade" of the -9K.
Some additional armor, an additional single heat sink and a MG and all this was payed for with a laser and two JJ's.
The loss of the JJ's is a very bad idea and still heat is a great problem. |

This looks like a mech you send into cities that have infantry problems.
Im not sure that cutting the jump mobility is the best way to go, however. This mech relies heavily on the ability to jump away from danger, and reducing that ability may just doom this design.
The extra heat sink is nice, but not enough. This mech carries ammo, granted its only half ton, but its still explosive. And I dont see CASE on this thing anywhere. Granted, the XL engine is going to be badly abused in an ammo explosion, but Id like to have something to salvage, other than paper clips.... |

Your giving up the one thing that keeps this mech alive. Jump jets, for machine guns...
Makes no sense, if you want a Venom go with the A. Its more survivable. |

This design does not make too much sense to me. An extra heat sink was not worth lowering this 'mech's jump capacity, and a high-priced hunter killer like this should not be stopping to deal with ground-pounders with it's M.G. |

A nice variant with good close range punch. Stay away from the big boys and you have a nice big brother for the locust here. |
