The C3-slave would have been a boon combined with that ER PPC if it ever would be able to fire without overheating. Still it needs DHS's or a cooler main weapon.

Adding the C3 was smart. But you need to kill the ER PPC back down to a standard unless you get Doubles.
The SRM could use an update one of these days as well.
Its okay. Better than average due to C3. Would have been better served with a TAG unit so it could use that when heat was getting high and cool while doing something useful.

Not bad, but could use some work. House Kurita likes the C3 net, so it was just a matter of time before this model hit the stores.
The ER PPC is almost a given, but isnt needed in this case. The weapon cranks out alot of heat, but the damage is still the same. Being that this thing has a C3 link in it, means it was meant to serve in a C3 unit. C3 units 99% of the time have one or more LRM boats to provide fire. The ER PPC isnt needed and could be swapped out for a standard PPC or perhaps a large laser.
The SRMs are nice, no frills, nothing fancy. Good for close up work, especially against any elementals this thing could root out. Not meant to save you from an Atlas, though.
The armor is about standard for a light mech, meaning that it should shoot-and-run rather than stand and slug it out.
The speed is kind of slow for a light mech, and Im not sure that the jump jets make up for it. Granted it gives the mech good mobility in close quarters, but in open air, this mech lacks the speed to either close in and provide good range modifiers, or run like hell.

Looks effective but the heat lets it down, I would consider replacing the engine with an XL and adding more heat sinks. On light mechs the XL isnt a vulnerability.

This 'mech will do lots of damage as part of a C3 network. Still, the heat generated by the ER PPC will be a problem, requiring the pilot to cycle the heat out every three to four rounds. Given the presence of the C3 slave module, replacing it with a standard PPC would not effect this Panther's long range firepower, and would greatly improve heat efficiency.
