Overview:
Survivor is able to lay down fire at all ranges, but becomes deadlier, and hotter at close
range. the LRM 15 is backed up by an Ultra 5 cannon, for long range. At medium Ranges, the
pilot cna switch to the improved HLLs, while running just a bit hotter hten the DHS can
handle, the mech is able to strip 2 tons off enemy armor ber accurate hit. At point blank
range, the mech can fire all its weapons, but its wises to alternate one HLL the Strk4 nad
the UAC5. to cool back off, and still keep a respectable rate of fire.
Capabilities:
"Survivor" was rebuilt from a base Orion 1K. In the process of being re-built the mech was
covered in 12 tons of Ferro Fibrous armor, compliments clan salvaged stockpiles. The entire
weapons suite was swapped out for clan tech DHS and weapons. Upon earning a warrior
position within Clan Goliath Scorpion, Romi, was permitted to further upgrade her mech as
she was allowed to keep it. Swapping out the Installed ERLL, for Improved Heavy Large
Lasers, the mech retained its additionally upgraded Streak SRM4, UAC5, and LRM15.
Deployment:
Assigned to a Goliath Scoprion Seeker as part of her retinue, Romi and "Survivor" eventually
became a seeker in their own right for the Escorpion Imperio. In her quest, shes found and
restored to service an ancient Primitive Battleaxe and a Primitive Orion 1H
Variants:
A rebuilt ON-1K that was knocked out of action during Operation Bulldog, the Survivor was
rebuilt by ELH astech TJ McKprmac while on garrison on Huntress. With some help from local
clan and other unit techs, the mech was pulled from a boneyard as the engine and majority of
the structure and frame were still sound. Replace the severely damaged feet and arms, and
swapping out weapons for salvaged clan tech. The mech has been slightly upgunned and
returned to fighting trim.
Notable MechWarriors:
Romi McKormac was gifted the finished mech upon her father finishing the work. After the
Goliath Scorpions absorbed the ELH, she was allowed to keep the mech and assigned to a
Seeker unit, she therefore missed much of the annihilation that followed the wars in the
clan home worlds. She still pilots her mech, further upgraded as a Seeker herself now.
