Overview:
    45 tons is one of the optimal wieghts for swords, paying less weight and space for the same
    damage as a 50 ton mech while also hitting the head-capper range of 12 damage with TSM.
    When looking for how to best use it, 45 ton mechs are the optimal weight for fusion engines
    to move 6/9 (along with 50 ton mechs).
    
    This leaves two main corridors to explore: (jump is handy for melee)
    - 6/11/8 jump scout: Partial wings, ECM, Light Tag (normal Gyro)
    - 5/9/5 melee striker: Medium Shield, XL Gyro, CASE II protection
    
    Of these, 6/9/5 is particularly appealing as durability is a major factor for melee mechs,
    and medium shields are great at negating huge amounts of incoming firepower.  While losing
    that absolutely incredible movement profile hurts, its important to remember this is a sword
    build and that heavier mechs can have truely terrifying melee power even without investment
    (100 ton mechs kick like AC 20).
