Overview:
    The SM-F Shadow Hawk refit done by the Scarlet Meridian was envisioned first and foremost as
    a cost effective and durable 'mech for training purposes, with operational parameters meant
    to put green or regular pilots to be put in the least amount of risk whilst still honing
    their skills in the field. To this aim, the F refit model is a fire support platform,
    trading the Holly SRM-2 rack for an additional LRM 5, and upgrading the Armstrong J-11 auto
    cannon to an Imperator Ultra-5A acquired from the market. To cut down on parts costs, the XL
    engines that have come standard in the newer SHD production models has been swapped for a
    standard fusion engine. The F model also features a Magna Mk. IV ER medium laser as a
    fallback weapon.
    
    The F refit notably does lack in sheer firepower, as most SHD models tend to, but with most
    of its firepower meant to engage targets from range behind a screen, its use as a sort of
    faux trainer, and with its financially minded design, this drawback is considered
    acceptable.
