A fast assault but undergunned and oversinked. Use it as a fire support unit and if somebody closes show him your tremendous physical combat ability. It is simply too heavy and too costly for what it does.

Big. Just...big. It's got the physical power, armor, and good speed of a top tier assault. But a PPC and AC/5 are not good enough. It makes this a decent enough support machine. For medium lances. Most strangely, it mounts EXTRA heatsinks. A tough design perhaps, but armor alone cannot win a battle. If you have to use this, fire while you close, and try and smack them around with physical strikes. And either sell it or refit it as soon as you can.
Might I suggest a radical refit to a BNC-3S? Might take some time and coin, but you'll like it much better. Trust me.

Good armor and above average speed for an assault using the old tech. The 'Mech is lacking firepower at any range and that is the problem when you field this, but the main flaw is that it has 16 heat sinks, which are wasted, because the Banshee really needs some short range backup. With some tinkering you would gain something that would be a rival to the Battlemaster, but as it stands it may act as an average sniper or as a martial arts specialist. in both roles it doesn't perform exceptionally well, so I can't give it better than average marks.

You folks can all call me crazy, but after piloting this mech (my first assault) in many games including a few roleplaying games during the clan invasion, I gotta tell you, this is a fun roleplaying 'mech. The armor on this thing allows it to absorb some serious punishment before it goes down and the physical attacks are just AWESOME. Okay the firepower is seriously lacking, but still a fun mech to play with. This one is also a team player, it definately relies on lance mates that hit harder. park it next to your Warhammer and when someone comes close to try to silence the PPC's, hit 'em with a charge. OUCH.

Erm!!! Get rid of the weapons Max up the armour. and use it to knock down obstucting buildings. Seriously though I would use it as a sniping machine but conversely I would be fairly confident of taking this on with most medium mechs if given the chance. I certainly would not even contemplate having this in my Arsenal. A very poor mech for its weight. Avoid!!
