Overview:
    The "Dawnbreaker" is named for the blinding coronas of super-heated plasma from employing
    its main weapons, two Ceres Arms Crusher plasma rifles.
    The BKX-SM is built on a modified Warhammer endo-steel chassis, given the ready availability
    of those parts compared to Battleaxe components, as the Battleaxe had all but gone out of
    production in 3070. This gives the 'mech its designation of BKX/WHM. The StarFrame Heavy
    chassis saves about as much weight as a light engine, and is much cheaper to obtain and
    build around than fitting a light engine. What Battleaxe components that are featured on the
    SM "Dawnbreaker" were likely salvaged or purchased. The Dawnbreaker shares a bit of DNA with
    the BKX-RISC, employing MML systems, and being used as an experiment for non-standard or
    experimental design. The Ceres Arms branded plasma rifles likely were salvaged from
    contracts for the Free Worlds League against the CCAF.
    Three MML-5s were fitted to the pre-existing missile hardpoints and FCS systems, used as
    secondary armaments in order to provide some level of tactical flexibility, and to make up
    for the slight range loss compared to the traditional armament of Donnell PPCs. Three tons
    are allotted to ammunition bins, traditionally loaded with one LRM bin and an SRM bin, with
    the third being for specialty ammo according to pilot discretion and mission criteria.
    Because of the nature of the non-standard parts and accessability issues, only two of these
    'mechs are known to exist, both reportedly in the hands of Scarlet Meridian's experimental
    warfare and training company, "Deltaguard."
