Overview:
    Natorious for experimental designs and reverse-engineering Clan technology, Etina Industries
    had managed to create their own version of the tri-modal LAM standard.  Seeing other designs
    struggle with making it an effective mech AND aerospace fighter, the designers set out to
    make it excell in-between as an airborne calvary unit akin to a "Heavy VTOL".  In that goal
    they largely succeeded, creating a unit capable of quickly flanking enemies with enough fire
    power to punch through armor and fists that hit hard enough to threaten even the largest
    scale of mechs.  Unfortunately its production line was shut down due to their VTOL parts
    factory being destroyed during a Clan raid, followed shortly by the technology becomign
    extinct galaxy wide.  There was enough leftover parts where some JMP-4K are still built as
    specialty orders for excentric customers or buyers needing replacement parts.  Thus a
    handful of this LAM can still be found in use, though with each passing year become more
    rare and expensive to maintain.

Capabilities:
    Equipped with a reinforced internal structure and 11.5 tons of armor the JTP-4k is durable
    even for a traditional medium mech, much less a typically frailer LAM.  This durability
    allows it to position aggressively with its primary laser weaponry, being equipped with an
    ER Heavy Laser and two ER Medium Lasers. This is supplemented by two Micro Pulse Lasers and
    two Small X-pulse Lasers that allow it to effectively whipe out infantry. These provide
    enough heat to activate the Triple Strength Myomers, letting the JMP-4K dive into melee to
    hit harder than most Assault mechs.  Lastly, it is equipped with an extra ton of fuel
    protected in C.A.S.E. II to allow for a substantially larger mission range.

Deployment:
    The Jetpack earned its nickname "Aegypiinae" (vulture) due to its original use of ambushing
    exposed infantry, armor, or light mechs.  It did this by scouting as a fighter before
    shifting to air-mech or ground modes to launch its surprise attack.  However, multiple
    commanders soon found that it had the firepower and physical attack capabilities to pose a
    real threat to even Assault mech's while flanking them.  It saw a shift in its use, becoming
    seen as a "Heavy VTOL", using its top air-speed of 250km/h to rapidly respond to allied
    forces in need of assistance.  While it would be considered sub-par as a pure-mech or
    aerospace fighter, as an air-mech it excelled as a form of airborne calvary.
    
    However, it did find considerable difficulty when pressured into combating aerospace peers.
    Like VTOLs, it would almost universally be outclassed in terms of both speed and firepower
    for its weight class.    Likewise, trapped on the ground due to the presence of Anti-Air
    weapons the JMP-4k is only as fast as an typical assault mech and even with its impressive
    jump jets will struggle to find opportunities be in range, much less perform its role as a
    flanker.  Pilots goals in these scenarios will be to offer what minimal support they can
    while attempting to survive.

Variants:
    JTP-4V: Designers aimed to make a short ranged version of the 4K, removing its ER
    weaponry in exchange for 3 Improved Heavy Small Lasers and 2 Improved Heavy Medium Lasers.
    Enough weight is saved to allow for a targeting computer and an extra CASE II protection to
    be installed.  This synergized better with its melee nature, though had now gone from
    semi-helpless in the aerospace combat to mere target practice for enemy forces in such
    scenarios.  BV2.0: 2,417.  Cost: 12,396,939.
    
    JTP-5G: Looking to lean into the "Heavy VTOL" concept that many commanders had
    designated the mech to, engineers dramatically reduced the mechs speed to a top air-mech
    speed of 151.2 km/h by reducing it to a 110 Fusion engine and only 3 improved jump jets.
    With the weight savings this allowed, the mech was outfitted with a Targeting Computer, two
    additional heat sinks, and an extra Micro Pulse Laser.  This dramatically improved its
    sustained firepower and accuracy.  BV2.0: 2,577.  Cost: 10,166,812.
    
    JTP-5V: This variant itterates upon the 5G's design, fully abandoning long range
    weaponry for close quarter combat options.  It is now equipped with two Medium lasers and 3
    SRM-6 fed by two two tons of ammo as its primary form of offense.  It also carries 4 micro
    pulse lasers and 2 Improved Heavy Small Lasers for melee range damage output.  All laser
    weapons are enhanced by a targeting computer, and enough weight was saved to include a third
    ton of fuel.  BV2.0: 2,045.  Cost: 9,972,868.
    
    e-Variants: Each model of the Jetpack were sold with full head ejection system
    options in case of an emergency in the vaccume of space, though getting these to operate at
    high speed added roughly 50% to their production cost, leading to them being rarely
