Variants:
    The JM6-DA JagerMech was an attempt to upgrade this staple of Davion ‘Mech forces, giving
    it heavier firepower and armor. Replacing the original light and medium Myron autocannons
    with the harder-hitting Mydron Excel heavy autocannon in each arm, this variant has far more
    firepower, if at shorter ranges, than its predecessor. Even with two tons of ammunition per
    cannon, this frees up enough spare mass to increase its armor by 50%, times thickening most
    locations by an appreciable amount. However, even with this increased armor mass, the design
    lacks protection in comparison to most other similar weight BattleMechs. Combined with the
    increased deadliness of its cannons, this model quickly gained notoriety on thr battlefield,
    leading to most being targeting and destroyed as soon as their presence is registered in a
    combat zone.
