Overview:
    The Gorilla has been modeled off the venerable Battlemaster skeleton. This design is a
    test-bed to see what could be done with the BLR-XD and became a design in its own right. At
    the heart of the GRL-XD is the powerful 340XL engine which generates enough power to provide
    the Gorilla with a top speed of 64kph. Designers hoped create a swift and agile 85 ton
    assault mech that could eventually replace the 85 ton 'mech. This was less than successful
    as the only way to increase the 85 ton GRL's maximum speed was with the incorporation of
    triple myomers or MASC. Designers chose the latter which granted the GRL reliable short
    bursts of up to 86km. Additionally, the 'mech utilises jump jets which allow the Gorilla to
    pounce from up to 120 meters on to unsuspecting prey.

Capabilities:
    A reliance on ammunition is one of the Gorilla's deficits. However, the GRL boasts two
    LRM-20s as its primary long-range punch with 12 shots each. For medium range striking is
    mighty Ultra/20 Autocannon with 20 reloads, which is adequate unless used at double rate of
    fire. Rounding out the Gorilla's short range offense are twin medium pulse lasers mounted in
    the Gorilla's left arm. To support Arrow IV equipped units, the Gorilla also features TAG.
