This mech was an example how to use the construction rules in the first BT box back in 1985. It was reintroduced in the TRO 3058 10 years later. The mech itself is the ultimative multi purpose mech for powers with a low budget. A heavy weapon, indirect fire capability, anti infantry capability, acceptable armor and speed and JJ´s. Heat dissipation capability is also good for a 3025 design. Another feature to note: One of the very few 3025 designs that has less than 200 shots of MG ammo.

Your ultimate "no frills" heavy mech, this mech will make a good GI for mercenaries or any Pheripery powers lucky enough to obtain this in the early 3010s and beyond.
Armor is a shade light, but the dazzling amount of weapons covering ALL RANGE BRACKETS and for almost any situations you can think off, its really hard to fault this bugger.
Not only that, it can jump too.
In all a solid cool running design. |

A lesser known mech but one which deserves recognition, it packs a good punch and as stated before really should have been included in the starter pack as it would make for a good training mech. |

Despite its lack of focus, I think that this would be a nice mech for a first time player to use. With weapons that cover every range, they rookie would be able to put in 'his two cents' in any situation. |

Good 'mech; reminds me of a Grand Dragon, but slower and with more heat sinks. I like heat efficiency, but I think the designers had become a tad too used to heat neutral 'mechs when they built this; I would probably strip a couple of those sinks for weapons; a bigger LRM launcher would be nice to have. Good mercenary or militia battlemech in a level 1 or 2 campaign. |
