Overview:
    Clan Donka designers saw the potential in the Barghest design and upgraded it with Clan
    technology. The Barghest has eleven and a half tons of armour that protects it from all but
    the heaviest enemy fire.

Capabilities:
    Two ER Large Lasers that allow the 'Mech to hit a target at up to seven hundred and fifty
    meters. To handle the 'Mech's heat buildup from its weapons, the XD Barghest has twelve
    double heat sinks. For medium to close range combat, the Barghest carries a powerful
    Ultra-20 Autocannon that is capable of firing both standard ammunition and cluster rounds
    that act like 'Mech-sized shotgun shells. The 'Mech's simplicity is also a weakness, as the
    Barghest has only the two ER Large Lasers if the autocannon falls silent from a lack of
    ammunition or a jam.

Variants:
    There is an alternate configuration that uses a Gauss Rifle instead of the Ultra AC/20. This
    version also has an ECM Suite and TAG to access Arrow IV Artillery support. A third version
    drops the jump jets and makes use of a 7 ton turret for 360 degrees weapon arc. It
    additionally adds 6 double strength heatsinks to maintain the heat of an ER PPC and two
    Large Pulse Lasers.
