Overview:
    Originally a Davionite refit of captured Pommels, the PML-1D would become a proper Federated
    Suns variant after Kallon Weapon Industries purchased the design schematics from Kepler
    Defense Group early in the Succession Wars. It discards the massed SRMs to become a close-in
    autocannon platform.

Capabilities:
    The PML-1D is still built on the Kepler-brand chassis, but its engine armor, and electronics
    are swapped out for Fed-produced brands. Said armor is also increased to 8 tons to improve
    survival rates, but is still considered an ambusher due to its still-slow speed. As for its
    firepower, two Federated Autocannon/10s with four tons of ammo provide a dangerous dual
    punch, while four ChisComp 38 Medium Lasers ensure it can still mass firepower even when the
    ACs are depleted. It only has twelve heat sinks, meaning it will run hot if Alpha Strikes
    are repeatedly employed.
