Capabilities:
The Tamaraw is ZMW's design for a dedicated APC. While its Cragstone Missile Tank can carry
infantry, the Tamaraw is expected to do the heavy soldier lifting for the ACDF, as each
"Tam" can carry a full platoon.
Lightly armed and armored just enough to take a PPC or AC/10 on three sides and an AC/20 to
the front, the Tamaraw is not designed to do frontline duty. Like its inspirational
predecessor, the American M113 APC of the mid-20th century, the Tamaraw is meant to deliver
its platoon of infantry and then move back. The Tammaraw is meant to deliver troops to a
battlefield, not take part in the battles themselves.
Variants:
Given the Tamaraw was inspired by the M113, the basic chassis is capable of being converted
for various uses, often removing most if not all of the infantry capacity to give the
vehicle more weapons, or converting the vehicle into an IFF by leaving a ton of infantry
space.
A common variant sees the removal of the entire infantry space and machineguns for two LR5s
and a ton of ammo, making the Tamaraw into a support missile boat.
