Overview:
    Built near the end of the Succession Wars period as a companion to the DOL-2S Doll and
    similar 'Mechs, the Lyre was a rather standard skirmisher-type 'Mech: weighing fifty tons,
    with eight tons of armor and a respectable main armament, it could pose a respectable threat
    to even larger opponents.
    
    Due to a combination of budgeting constraints—the Lyre was seen more as an amusing
    side-project than a money maker by the company brass—the Lyre had a very low-cost
    targeting system: a modified version of an ancient operating system from the early 21st
    century called Windows XP. Although sluggish and often imprecise compared to dedicated
    tracking systems, it served its intended purpose.

Capabilities:
    Designed as an 'escort' for lighter 'Mechs such as the Doll and Commando, the Lyre was
    designed to be fast enough to keep up with its charges and dangerous enough, both in
    armament and armor, to provide a threat that could not be ignored. When used as intended,
    the Lyre would draw the fire of a target, using its armor to absorb the incoming fire while
    the lighter 'Mech got into position.
